GENERAL FUNCTIONS
The Temporary Project Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing & Communications team at Y-USA and other internal departments to understand and implement the initiative and will be responsible for driving this program to success. The Temporary Project Marketing Manager will also handle regular communication ensuring extremely high levels of customer service.
Contingent upon funding, this position will be supported by a grant until December 31, 2012, with the possibility of being extended thereafter.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- BS or BA required & advanced degree desirable
- 5+ years of account management experience either agency or client side
- 7+ years marketing experience managing national initiatives
- Interactive / Digital marketing experience is a must
- Proven experience in program activation of large scale national campaigns
- Nonprofit industry experience helpful but not required
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with internal communications beneficial
- Highly organized and detail oriented with strong project management skills
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking and presenting
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Organizational, interpersonal and multitasking skills
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage multiple relationships with various teams associated with the new campaign, developing positive working relationships with internal Y-USA teams, advertising communications agencies and sponsor contacts.
- Leverage technical tools and data and solicit ongoing feedback to research campaign opportunities as the campaign runs to ensure success, uncover problems, and measure results.
- Prepare campaign progress reports, analysis and research leveraging Y-USA and sponsor data for presentation to internal and external stakeholders both during and after campaigns.
- Manage various elements of campaign to achieve maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow-up to ensure timelines and budgets are being met.
- Extensive experience in program activation and ongoing management of large national campaigns.
- Maintain status documentation for use by Y-USA and other stakeholders as needed.
- Manage day-to-day operational processes including campaign set-up and activation, trafficking, optimization and trouble-shooting.
- Work closely with Y-USA and other teams to communicate causes for campaign success or challenges, to drive implementation enhancement and success of campaign.
