LGBTQ Parenting Class

Positive Discipline
By Jane Nelsen, Ed.D.
For twenty-five years, Positive Discipline has been the gold standard reference for grown-ups working with children. Nelsen's book shows that the key to positive discipline is not punishment, but mutual respect. She coaches parents and teachers to be both firm and kind, so that any child - from a three-year-old toddler to a rebellious teenager - can learn creative cooperation and self discipline with no loss of dignity. Millions of children have already benefited from these techniques, and we are offering this class to you FREE OF CHARGE!

Values of Respect, Dignity and Equality for a New Age
All parents struggle from time to time; there is no handbook for how to raise kids, and we all do the best we can with what we've got. This 8-hour class, offered in a safe space, is designed to help you to add to your "parenting toolbox" by giving you more tools for dealing with temper tantrums, sibling rivalry, and for showing your love, while allowing your child to develop in an emotionally healthy way - while addressing the unique challenges LGBTQ parents face in the 21st century. And the best part is, you will be helping other parents learn as you do, and connecting with other members of your community.
