State Rep. La Shawn K. Ford is looking for state certified
teachers and administrators willing to
volunteer one hour per week at a public library to help
students improve in core academic subjects, explore
interesting topics that make learning fun, and reinforce
concepts taught last school year.
Educators who are interested in participating, and
students looking to be matched with a qualified tutor,
should call Ford’s office to register. Once we have a
match, we will call you to set up the session!
NOTE: Educators who wish to participate must
be able to verify employment and show proof of
a clean criminal background.
